Charlie's Death Wish

Here is the story of a man who hates life-hates himself-hates others-and has no reason whatsoever to live-and seems to be trying very hard to rectify that(living-I mean). Here is the link to the very sad story of a very wasted life. When I read the story of Charlie-it makes me weep; because if not for the grace of God-I would be walking in his shoes and doing what he is doing to himself right now-this very day. I would be just like Charlie-and the people who worship him. The truth is -false god's never satisfy-and they never deliver the goods. They leave you feeling like you ate cotton candy for dinner.  Still hungry-empty-and very sick.

If Jesus has saved you from that kind of life-and death-you should fall on your knees right now and thank him for it. If not for the glorious Grace of the glorious God manifest in Jesus Christ-I would be right where Charlie is today.

Will you pray for Charlie right now-and the multitudes like him that are a product of this culture? Apart form Christ the world has nothing to offer Charlie-only hopeless suicidal despair. The salvation that is in the Lord Jesus Christ is Charlie's only hope!
