Today I would like to introduce you to Alpha and Omega Ministries, and my friend Dr James White. Here is the link to the website. At the website there are many articles and much invaluable information-as well as the schedule for Dr. White's speaking engagements. Some of the best books I have ever read on certain subjects are available there also. Books like "The Forgotten Trinity" and "The Potter's Freedom" and " The King James Only Controversy"-oh and this must read for the foggy theology that abounds today "The God Who Justifies".
Here is the link to the ministry You Tube channel where you can find some of the most profitable information and teaching on the internet. You will find out how to engage people who are snared in false religions of every stripe-you can watch debates with Muslims and Liberals and Roman Catholics. There are videos there to help you understand textual criticism, and why certain modern translations of Scripture are better than the KJV and why. In fact there is a wealth of information there concerning the KJV controversy. You will find out what Islam believes and very important information about the Qur'an. You will also be able to view many past Dividing Line programs.
James White has done many debates and you should listen to as many of them that you possibly can. He is unsurpassed when it comes to clearly and brilliantly defending Biblical truth-and the "Once for all delivered to the saints" faith. I have never heard anyone do what he does better than he does it! He is a gift to God's Church-and we should all take advantage of the resources that are available to us through Alpha and Omega Ministries.

ReplyDeleteI thank God for Dr. White. I started listening to him 3 years ago. He is one of my absolute favorite bible teachers. Wow- did he ever teach my husband and me about Romans chapter 9. I've read The Roman Catholic Controversy and also have The God Who Justifies. I also have read and given away his book- Grieving-Our Path Back to Peace. It is very easy to read and practical.
He spoke 5 or 6 years ago at a church in Omaha we now attend, but we weren't attending there at the time- so missed out on that. Hopefully he will be back. The pastor there says Dr. White is a friend of his!

I had no idea how full of bad theology I was until a few people challenged me to actually read the bible without imposing my traditions. One of them introduced me to James. I agree with Diane, Dr. White's book on grieving is wonderful. It's probably the best help I have read on a very difficult topic. Thanks Vicki!
