Today I am grateful for the animal friends that God has made possible for us to enjoy. The dogs that we have had over the years as a married couple have always added fun and a lot of healthy exercise to our lives. Dogs have to be walked-especially large breeds like Boxers and Old English Bulldogs.
I am especially grateful for Gus-he had surgery recently due to a ruptured ACL. His stiches were removed yesterday and he is recovering on schedule. Gus happens to be one of my all time favorite dog friends. He is 2 now-and I hope he has many years left with us! You can probably tell by the picture-that he is pretty attached to me too-lol. He is the only dog that has ever been allowed on this sofa.

Pets are so comforting. It looks like Gus is very fond of you. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone-Gus is quite a good looking boy IMO! It is nice, Jen, to have a picture in our head of what internet friends look like-but I take a terrible picture-so it is rare for me to do this.
ReplyDeleteThe expression on his face is so funny. He's a little honeybear! (That's what we call really cute dogs at our house.)
ReplyDeleteYou both take a very nice picture! God bless!
I just love your Gus!!! I miss my doggies! We had Springer Spaniels.
ReplyDeleteHi Katy-thanks for you kind comments-I will be checking your blog out for sure-it is always nice to meet new people via the internet!
ReplyDeleteBy the way Katy-I love it when young people take the time to come here and comment!!
